Hi friends,

At the end of April I'm biking from Oakland to Sacramento as part of Ride 4 A Reason, an annual fundraiser supporting public schools in Oakland and Alameda.

Public education is underfunded in ways that affect all of us, and especially now that pandemic-era funding has expired, the gaps are real. Last year, thanks to R4R, more than 6,000 kids across eleven schools got field trips, school library access, sports uniforms, and outdoor experiences.

This is R4R's 17th year, and over that time the ride has raised close to $1.8 million for these schools. My personal goal is $500 by April 26th. 100% of what I raise goes directly to the schools.
